38. Sending Direct Messages to Staff on Discord
Staff members have the right to refuse direct messages (DMs) from players. If a staff member has requested not to be contacted via DM, players must respect this boundary and use the appropriate channels for communication (e.g., support tickets, help forums, or designated Discord channels).
Violations & Disciplinary Actions:
First Offense – A verbal warning will be issued, reminding the player of the rule.
Second Offense – A temporary mute or restriction from contacting staff will be applied.
Repeated or Severe Offenses – Stricter disciplinary actions, including server timeout, Discord mute, or potential ban, may be enforced.
Additional Notes:
Emergency Situations – If urgent staff assistance is needed, use the official help channels rather than personal DMs.
Harassment or Spam – Any form of harassment, excessive messaging, or disrespect toward staff will result in immediate disciplinary action.
Respect Boundaries – If a staff member permits DMs but later revokes permission, players must immediately cease messaging them.
Failure to follow these guidelines may lead to escalating disciplinary actions. Always use the appropriate support systems for assistance.
